The Holy Grail
It is said that you must become like little children to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, so you must consider what the difference is between you as you are now, and what you were like as a little child.
Remind yourself, go and look at a little child, you can see it can’t you? Their innocence, their self-determined free will, their rejection of judgement, their purity of mind that has not been contaminated by worldly knowledge, their realization that they are dependent on the Love and care of others.
These are they that are still in the Kingdom, because they have only righteous beliefs, and have not yet been taught by the world to create unrighteous spirits. What you see in a little child is a free spirit, who has not yet been made to conform to the ways of those who have lost their innocence, and they have not yet been made to accept the judgements of such people.
The innocence of little children should be protected, but instead they are soon dragged out of the Kingdom and into the world, where they are made to compete and encouraged to be selfish and prideful.
So here you are, one of those once little children, who has grown and has had to endure life in the world, a world that takes all that is of worth in souls, and replaces it with worthless knowledge, struggle and suffering. But they haven’t taken everything from you, because you are aware somewhere deep inside of what you lost, and you want it back, but you don’t know how. Those of the world want you as you are; they want to keep control of you for their own benefit.
I want to remind you here of what I wrote in my interpretation of the Gospel of Thomas, Logion 4:
Jesus said, “The man old in days will not hesitate to ask a small child seven days old about the place of life, and he will live. For many who are first will become last, and they will become one and the same”.
Interpretation of: ‘The man old in days will not hesitate to ask a small child seven days old about the place of life, and he will live’.
‘The man’ always represents the spiritual Self, the ‘I’ in I am.
‘The man old in days’ refers to the spiritual Self which pre-existed its new mind and physical body.
‘The seven day old child’ refers to the spiritual Self on its seventh day of its new life journey. At this point in time, the spiritual Self has no problem realizing that it is the life, and because of this, it lives, for there is no ignorance of itself in its mind.
It was said in Matthew 18:2-3: ‘And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them and said, Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven’.
I want to also remind you of what is written in John 3:3-7: ‘Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, ‘How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?’ Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again’.
If you want back what you have lost then you must go back to where you were as a little child, and the only way that you can do that and re-enter the Kingdom is to be born again spiritually. Is there a way without sacrificing the physical body or losing those you Love? There is, but it will take a leap of faith, in Love and your Self.
How can a man be reborn unless his heart stops beating first? It is in the heart of a spiritual being that desire resides, and therefore I say, that desire must end before rebirth can occur.
The Self, which is a spiritual being, needs nothing to maintain its immortal existence, and so how the Self experiences its existence is of the greatest importance to it.
It is what is in your soul that determines the quality of your existence, so what do you have in your soul that you did not have when you came into the world?
You have knowledge that the world has taught you, and you have the knowledge that you came into the world with.
You have another identity that is false. It is that of being a physical being, and you struggle because you cannot be both. You know what you are when you came into the world, but now you are not so sure because doubts have crept in. Instead of one master, there now appears to be two, so you wonder, ‘which is the creator and which is the created?’ Does the Self’s existence depend upon the physical body, or does the physical body depend on the Self that you refer to as ‘I’?
There is a reason that you are not sure of now, what you were sure of when you were a little child, and that is conflict of knowledge in the mind, and beliefs formed from that knowledge.
Beliefs are formed from undeniable proof, conditioning or from a desire to believe something is true.
People usually accept easily, knowledge that is comfortable and pleasing to them, but as soon as knowledge becomes unpleasing and unpleasant to them they reject it. What is true or not to a person, depends on how that person feels.
Truth is not dependent on feelings, and it is because of this misconception that it is, that the world is in such a state.
But there is also another factor that can cause a person to accept beliefs that they have no proof of and that is the fear of what might happen if a belief is rejected.
The soul is like a cup in which knowledge has been poured and gathered into. Unfortunately it contains both truthful and untruthful knowledge and the Self is left to drink this knowledge. It is like a cup that has both wine and vinegar in, and so they become mixed and inseparable; how then can life ever taste perfect?
The only solution is to empty the cup and start again. Become as a little child, then you will know the meaning of the Holy Grail.
Look into your mind at all the knowledge you have gained from the world. Is there anything there that can end your suffering once and for all? Is there anything that you can rely on to save you? Is there anything that can bring you a peace that will last?
There is Truth but there are also lies, and they fight each other day and night.
There is Love, but there is also hate, and they struggle against each other day and night.
You are stuck in the middle of a battle between the spirits of light and darkness that you have created. There can be no peace until they are cleared out.
When you realize that your knowledge is worthless you will let it go.
When you realize that it is not your hands that cling to the things of the world, but it is your mind, then you will let them go.
What then will have any power over you? What will there be then to judge you?
The death before rebirth is not the death of the Self, for that is immortal, but it does require a sacrifice of all that is not the Self. It is the death of the false Self-image.
Have I not said, that when you stand alone with nothing that the world can take from you, with only Love in your heart, then the gates of Heaven will open?
Have I not said that sometimes you have to give in to win?
Take up your cross and sacrifice your soul and you will see that the only things left are immortal things, i.e. the true Self, Love and Truth. I tell you in Truth that the Holy Spirit will fill your soul full of light, permeating every part of your being, and you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.
Give back what the world has given you, and accept what God has always offered you. These things you are destined to do, whether in this life journey or a thousand life journeys from now.
You are a child of God; a child that belongs in your true Home which is Heaven. Get off your knees and act like the King He made you. Turn from the world, for all that is of it is perishable. Your Father has always loved you, and He waits patiently for your awakening and return.
